The IT Training team will help and support yo to get the most out of the MS Office 2013 package available to you at St George's.
We offer a number of ways to improve your IT skills including Student Microsoft Office Workshops, Staff Microsoft Office Workshops, online tutorials and 1-2-1 sessions for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (Office 2013 version).

European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL)
Proficiency in the use of information technology is a vital skill in any workplace. The ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) is recognised by the NHS as a badge of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications. The qualification counts as 40 hours of CPD, training can be completed online at home.
Office 365 gives you 1TB of storage space in the cloud, enabling you to update Office documents across multiple devices, while keeping your content and formatting intact.
With O365 you can:

Download Microsoft Office Apps to 5 devices.
St George's, University of London students and staff can downlaod free copies of the Microsoft Office apps on up to 5 devices.
Note: the software is valid for as long athe use has a valid SGUL account, and will stop working once the account is closed, i.e when the student or staff member leaves the university.
Learn at Your Own Pace - E-learning
For those wanting self-directed learning, a range of videos with course materials for Microsoft Office 2013 are available to download or view online.
These are useful for any level of user, offering instant targeted solutions, without have to book, arrange and leave the office.
IT Trainer in the Library
The IT trainer offers group or one-to-one tailored tuition and support onsite in Microsoft Office® applications such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access, or Project.
Free to SGUL staff and students. For NHS staff, hands-on workshops cost £20 and tailored workshops cost £30 per person, per workshop, per hour (VAT is included in both prices).
